For Traska, the Brood Mother, the act of giving birth is a rare and miraculous event. She alone has the power to bring dragons into the world — a process that requires centuries of preparation, immense magic, and untold energy. Each time, the birth is a monumental occasion, a spectacle of life itself, and every birth brings forth a new dragon to shape the world.

Her magic has brought forth a wyrmling, the first in 1000 years. The world has celebrated, kingdoms have rejoiced, and the air hums with excitement for the dragon’s future — its strength, its potential, and its place in the realm. The world is unified in this moment, marveling at the arrival of this new life.

But a shadow now stretches over this moment of joy.

Whispers. A growing sense of unease. Plans are being whispered in dark corners — someone seeks to steal the wyrmling. Rumors speak of those who would hide in the darkness, seeking to kidnap the baby dragon for their own purposes. What they want, or what they plan, no one knows for sure. All that’s certain is that a threat looms — one that, if left unchecked, could unravel the very fabric of the world’s fragile peace.

You are a group of guardsmen and guardswomen, tasked with two vital missions:

First, investigate the rumors. Find out who is behind this conspiracy, where they are hiding, and what they plan to do with the wyrmling. The clock is ticking. Each passing moment could be a step closer to the kidnapping — a step closer to a disaster you cannot yet comprehend. If you uncover the truth in time, you can stop the plot before it unfolds, perhaps without anyone even knowing how close the world came to disaster.

But if you fail to uncover the truth soon enough, the situation will change. The second mission will become your only choice: the rescue. You will have to locate the wyrmling yourself — track down the kidnappers, retrieve the dragon, and get it back to safety. A mission that will test everything you know, every skill you’ve honed, and every ounce of courage you can muster. If you have no answers by then, your investigation will be over. The mystery will become an urgent race against time to save the dragon before it’s lost forever.

You don’t know who is behind this plot, or what their true motivations are. You don’t know how far this conspiracy reaches, or what dangers lie ahead. All you know is this: you have limited time to find the answers. If you fail, the wyrmling will be lost — and the world will shift in ways you may never fully understand.

The world moves on, unaware of the threat. But you know better. Every day, every hour, the possibility of catastrophe grows. Will you uncover the truth in time? Or will you be forced to launch a rescue with nothing but your wits and determination?

Your mission is twofold: uncover the plot and stop it. If you can’t do that, then find the wyrmling before it’s too late. The unknown lies ahead. But you must decide: can you solve the mystery, or will you have to act before the truth is ever revealed?
